Mochi List
Write the items once, then pick how the list behaves. The same list is a checklist while you pack, a wheel when nobody can decide where to eat, and a deck of flash cards the night before a test — without retyping any of it.
Checklist to cross things off. Spin Wheel to let a wheel choose. Randomizer to pull one at random. Flash Card to tap through and flip. Browser to simply read down the list. Switching mode changes what the list does, never what's in it.
Ticks stay ticked between sessions, and finishing a list is celebrated rather than silently ending. The other four modes start fresh every time, because a wheel that remembered its last spin would be a worse wheel.
Any item takes a note and a photo. In Flash Card mode the item is the front of the card and its note is the back, so a list you wrote for one reason turns into study material without being rebuilt.
One tap reorders the items at random — and it re-rolls if the shuffle happens to come back in the order it started, which is the sort of detail you only notice when it's missing.
Export any list and you get a single file holding its items, notes, photos and tick state. Send it however you like; whoever opens it in Mochi List gets the list, not a link to it. Import brings one back the same way.
Free, with nothing to buy inside it and no advertising. There is no sign-up, no password, and no subscription — your lists are on the phone and the app opens straight into them, in the air or underground.
Worth saying plainly, because a list app is easy to assume things about. There are no Home Screen widgets, and no syncing between your devices — a list lives on the phone that made it, and the way to move one is to export it. Both are things we want to build; neither is in the app you would download today.
Your lists, their items, notes and photos stay on the device, and no account exists to attach them to. The app itself does send a small amount of anonymous usage data, and a crash report if it ever stops unexpectedly, so we can tell which modes people actually use and fix what breaks. Neither carries your list contents.
