Mochi Trip
Trip answers five questions and writes you a day-by-day itinerary. If something isn't behaving, start here — and if the answer isn't below, write to us.
Itineraries are written by a hosted model, so Trip needs a working network connection. Check that first. If you are online and it still fails, the message on screen says why — send it to us and we will look. What gets sent in order to write a plan is described in the privacy policy.
That's deliberate. Trip remembers a plan it has already written and gives it back rather than writing it again. To get a different take, change something — the budget, who's travelling, the length — or rewrite a single day with the button on the day's card.
It can happen. The model writes from what it learned, not from a live database, so a place can be misremembered or long gone. Tap Maps next to any place to check it — a name that finds nothing is the tell. Then rewrite that day, and please tell us what it invented.
Yes. Every day's card has a rewrite button in its top right corner. It rebuilds that day alone and leaves the rest of the trip as it is.
Saved plans always open offline — once a plan exists it lives on your phone and needs nothing. Writing a new plan needs a connection, because a hosted model writes it.
There is a monthly allowance, shown in Settings, because each plan costs money to produce. It is set high enough that ordinary use will not meet it. Reading, sharing, editing and deleting plans you already have is never limited.
Delete the app. Everything Trip keeps lives on your device and goes with it. Individual trips can be deleted from the Saved tab, and everything at once from Settings.
